Where are you writing from?

Hello everyone,

When I take a moment to think, I realize that one of the most beautiful things about the internet and social media is the ability to connect with people from all corners of the world. It's truly heartwarming to share moments, emotions, thoughts, and tips with one another!
What makes this community so special is that you're not just sharing ideas; you're sharing your space and experiences, which adds an incredible personal touch. 🤗

With that in mind, I would love to know where in the world you’re connecting from! Are you in your hometown, or perhaps you're writing from your new home, thousands of kilometers away? 🌍 ✈️

I'm excited to hear from each of you!

Warm regards,
Alex

Hi @Patricia2526! Hope everything is going well. 😄

We are truly connecting from the other side of the world.

What's the weather like in Philippines at this time of the year? 👀

Warm regards,

Alex

Hi @Alex

Philippines experiences cool and pleasant weather atm. Great weather for beaches and festivals.

Hi @Patricia2526!

I'm so jealous right now! Currently in Canada we are having -10 degrees Celsius every single day. 😅

Does the weather change throughout the year or does it stay the same? 🌞

Kind regards,

Alex

@Alex Hi from Downunder.

I live 1 street from the Huskisson Beach NSW.

At night when the air is quiet you can hear the waves crashing on the beach if there has been rough weather.

Early in the mornings you can hear the Kookaburras calling to say "Get out of Bed" But at 5.30 it is too early.

In the afternoon you hear the parrots making a racket when my elderly neighbour feeds them.

Hi @Laurelle3!

That description from the place you live sounds so relaxing! I feel it's a beautiful place. 😊

What's the most exotic animal you have seen so far? I can imagine there are a few, considering the fauna of Australia. 🐨

Excited to read your answer,

Alex

@Laurelle3

Count your blessings, our birds wake up sometimes as early as 3.30am however it's usually around 4.30am at the latest.

We often wonder what they are talking about amongst themselves.

We regularly get an assortment of birds from Tuis to Fantails, Rosellas and Magpies as well as the usual Blackbirds, sparrows, Thrushes and Pigeons and depending on the weather and wind random Ducks flying over and Gulls.

On occasions we hear Owls.

This little fledgling Tui took a liking to us recently and decided it wanted to go for a walk on my shoe - it had come out of a tree and was learning to fly.

We had the most incredible fun watching it rolling around looking up to it's parents in the tree as if it was saying "Look at me mum and dad, I've a new friend" and laughing
