@Susan42 If it's possible to reschedule your guest, that would be preferable, but if not you would have to contact Airbnb to request a penalty-free cancellation. Whether they will grant it is probably the luck of the draw. Planned renovations don't officially qualify as extenuating circumstances.
One cancellation will not necessarily cost you super-host status.
