@Naji49 see if you can sort it out directly with the host. Airbnb customer support is a disaster for hosts and guests and should be avoided at all cost.
the host is as surprised as I am. they have changed my check out and the booking is closed. I paid for an extra 3 weeks tho. I dunno what to do. I'm trying to reach out to them to sort it out. I don't want to get into a conflict with the host as he has been very decent. he is telling me that since the reservation is closed I need to move out !!!

All this was unavoidable. You simply needed to send a date alteration request to your host or he could have sent one to you. The cost of the stay is then automatically recalculated, the other party accepts the request, job done.
I am surprised the host didn't just do that as there was no need to contact CS. Is he inexperienced?
