Hi @Dave396 , these days an ordinary camera should do the job.

There are instances of hosts misrepresenting their properties - resulting in full refunds to the guests.

An Airbnb photographer here. 

I politely disagree with the above comment. A good photographer isn't used to misrepresent your airbnb, its to enhance and showcase your lovely home.. which results in new guests. Professional photos can honestly be the big deal breaker when deciding on which airbnb to go with.
