Can anyone help with the 'Private booking' aspect of our listings. We run classes in glass and pottery for up to 4 people max in a class. Often people are booking as a couple and I'd like to be able to offer them the class as a private booking so I had ticked that box for our listings and given a price for the private booking as only a bit more than the normal 2-person rate to secure it as a private class just for them. But I had someone book recently for 2 people and paid the Private booking rate but he messaged me to say that he would find 2 friends to join him as he thought he had paid for the lesson for 4. That was his understanding - that he had paid for up to 4 people and I must say the wording at the customer end could read either way. I explained to him and he was fine about the misunderstanding and I have now taken the Private Booking option off all our listings. Can anyone advise? Have I misunderstood the wording? - should I get in touch with Airbnb support to see if they can word it better at the customer end so it is clearer or is there someone from Airbnb on here who can help? thanks
