FAQ: Where do I find my Airbnb listing number?

Each Airbnb listing is given a unique number when it is created. This number is rarely used because it’s seldom needed.

If the listing number is requested, the question “Where can I find my number?” arises.

For example, it is requested when joining the official Airbnb Facebook groups. And sometimes it can also be quite useful to look up another listing using the number.

The listing number should not be confused with the profile number. While each member may only create one profile, any number of listings is possible.

Web link

The listing numbers are part of the URLs (web addresses), i.e. the listing links in the browser.

Desktop interface

This works best on the PC: Click on the link www.airbnb.com/hosting/listings: If you are logged in, your listings will be shown there.

Click on a listing to go to the listing editor. You will see the URL in the address bar at the top of the browser. You can copy the number from the marked position:

The same applies, of course, if you view your (or another) listing in travel mode (or if others view yours):

Airbnb app (Android)

If you don't have a PC at hand but an Android cell phone, it could still work. The number is a little more hidden in the Airbnb app. First, open the app and you will usually end up at Today. Tap on Listings, then on the relevant listing, then on Show. Tap the Share button in the top right-hand corner. Both the URL (also for copying) and the usual apps in which you can share appear:

You can send the link to yourself via WhatsApp, for example, then you will see the listing number again as part of the link and can copy it out:

Unfortunately, this does not seem to work on the iPhone, because the listing link is shortened there.

Emails from Airbnb
An easy way to find out the number, however, is to read it from the Airbnb payout email. Of course, this assumes that you receive this email (and have not deselected to receive it).

Calling up a listing

If you know a listing number, you can call up the corresponding accommodation in the desktop interface by entering the listing number in the syntax www.airbnb.com/rooms/xxxxxxxxxxxx instead of the x placeholders. The number of digits is not fixed; older listings have lower numbers.
