Hi everyone,

I was thinking about renting a house or an apartment to host a birthday party, but I am having a hard time finding a host willing to accept one that is also within my budget. I am willing to clean up or pay someone to clean up if the house becomes a mess and I do not plan to make it a necessarily a "project X" party.

You will have better luck renting a venue for your party. Airbnb officially banned all open-invite parties and events.

I've read this exact posting before, including the language about a "project x party".  It was answered extensively already.

@Micayla2  the majority of host are reluctant to host young people wanting to hold a party.

Why do you need an Airbnb to do this. Why not host at a local community venue. This would be cheaper and accommodation set up for event use.
