Adding an additional guest for a specific time period

Hello

I want to find out if the Air Bnb platform is set up for a long term guest to be able to add an additional guest for a shorter period or 2-3 nights within their booking. Can anyone help as my current guest has tried to do this however she has been billed for the additional guest for the total remaining period she has her original booking?

Additional guests can not be added for a specific time period within an existing reservation.

But you can make other arrangements, like charging a fee via resolution centre for those nights.

Does your listing charge for additional guests over a single guest?  Does your listing require the registration of all guests?  If not, then the long term guest can have a guest without additional cost or action.  Otherwise, you can simply  use the request money function on the reservation and charge the booking guest the additional guest fee.
