Airbnb Notifications Not Notifying!

Hi,

 

I am new to this group and have been talking with customer support and a Senior Case Manager over the last few days. 

 

We used to rely very much on notifications that remind us to communicate with guests about their arrival.  Since the end of May 2025, these have been sporadic at best, non-existent better describes it.  This affects our ability to communicate effectively with guests ahead of their arrival, advising things such as directions and the location of the keys.

 

Airbnb are aware of the issue but are not making this public:

 

'The same issue you experience about the notification settings, our software engineers team have confirmed that this is a bug on our system. We are seeking with your kind understanding extending your patience rest, assure our software engineers team are diligently working to fix this issue.'

 

This is posted only so that other hosts / co-hosts are aware of the issue.  Maybe it is just a UK issue.  I know that I am now listed as the host (but am the co-host) and the true host has lost Super host status.

 

It's a shame that Airbnb carry on charging commission at the rates they do when they know there is a bug in their software.
