Assessment how do they calculate
please can someone explain to me how my superhost average can be higher than my basic..
how do they calculate.. all 7 criteria with each booking to provide an average per booking.. and what about stays that aren't reviewed.. to they count in their assessment.. I have no clue how they get their figures and if anyone can shed some light.. i'd be very grateful.
i have spent hours emailing the support but their answers are so irrelevant and inaccurate i give up..
best wishes

In your account, menu "performance", it shows information about your figures regarding Superhost
Also please read:

BTW Some ratings are not taking temporary into account (because of Corona pandemic),
please read:
Your questions are rather general, maybe provide more specific details to get specific answers
Hope this helps,

@Imogen23 The Superhost stats are for the last 12 months. They may well be different to your overall stats.

I am still unclear how basic requirements number is different from superhost ones.. when they both are calculated on reviews over past 365 days

@Imogen23 It's not exactly the same time period.
The current superhost assessment runs Jan 1, 2020 to Dec 31, 2020, which is not the same as the last 365 days.
Stays where no reviews are given aren't included in the star rating, but are included in the other measurements.

And the individual star ratings, i.e. cleanliness, communication, etc, aren't averaged to get the overall rating. The overall ratings is a rating all to itself that the guest gives- it's not an amalgam of the other ratings. @Imogen23

I am not sure that the basic requirements within superhost are from beginning of my listing as mypublic score is 4.7. In the basic requirements it states based on performance last 365 days..
From other helpful replies I can see the dates are different which explains the discrepancy.
Many thanks for support.

Superhost stats are calculated from the last twelve months. Basic requirements are from the beginning of time (since you started your listing.)
Superhost works on a rolling basis and encompasses 4 quarters. For instance, the last quarter ended on September 30 and was made up of data from October 1, 2019 - September 30, 2020.
Why on earth can customer service not explain this?!!?
