COMMUNITY CENTRE - WHERE ARE YOU?

Hi everyone

is it just me having a moment or has the usual link to the community centre ( ie this forum) disappeared?

for me it's usually right at the bottom of the home page - not there.

I'm not sure HOW i got here this time - but it took about 6 -8 clicks going through various pages  - not sure i could do it again if i tried.

Another "upgrade" do you think or a clever way of discouraging venting?

Call me cynical....

Hi @Rowena29

I still see on the footer of the page, under "Hosting"

@Rowena29  mine has disappeared as well.   I have to go through my profile now to get to the link.  Took me a while to figure that out since I have always used the link at the bottom of the page.    😛

@Roberta2

It's back now in my footer where it always used to be - and the way I always use to access. But for a couple of days it wasn't there... WEIRD.

@Ann489 has yours reappeared also?

@Rowena29   nope, mine is still notably absent.  😕  Oh, well....I guess, I'll access the CC through my profile from now on.   Counter-intuitive and useless software.  😛

@Rowena29  Here's how I've always accessed the community center- I put https://community.withairbnb.com/t5/notificationfeed/page in my browser, I get the sign-in page and then it takes me directly to the CC.

What I find so weird is that if I sign in to my host account and click on my profile photo, the options in the drop-down menu are different than if I first click on one of the items in the top bar, like Progress, or Calendar- if I'm on one of those pages, and I then click on my profile photo, there are different options in the drop-down. The Airbnb software is so strange and illogical.

illogical is right - so many things are counterintuitve.

I very rarely open up with the intention of going to community.

I go straight to my listing - check the calendar, check the prices haven't been altered and that blocked days are still blocked - have a poke around in general, and them zip to the bottom and go to community just to check out if anything dire is going on.

It's quick and easy to find.

Can't imagine WHY it disappeard - it even disappeared if I clicked help, which was interesting because the standard has been to direct hapless people seeking help  to the community boards first ( as evidenced by those posts we've all seen where individuals thought they were talking to CS).

I would say some changes are occurring.

god know what this time. Probably something useless

I type: “comm..” then bang! Up pops the community address , I click it then here I am.

I’m embarrassed to say I wouldn’t know where to start to find it via any menu listing, but one things for sure, the AirBnb listing site at AirBnb.com is a different site to this the community site at ‘www.withairbnb.com’.
