Callback time?
Called with an issue on Friday 8/21/20
Due to Covid they are understaffed and having operators who answer the phones take down info and then an agent will call you back. I’ve escalated my issue and it’s been marked urgent.
How long is it taking them to call back and address issues now?

@Cassandra182 Even before they were short-staffed, Airbnb was well known for never calling back, no matter how sincerely they make that promise sound. Don't hold your breath.

If you find a safety hazard in your rental you are required to notify the host right away, and give the host an opportunity to remedy the problem. You should always communicate with the host via Airbnb's message system so it can be reviewed by Airbnb, if necessary. If the host is causing you to have concern for your safety, leave the space immediately, and/or call the authorities. Once you are safe, you can contact Airbnb to report the situation. I also recommend purchasing travel insurance whenever you staying away from home.
