Can i cancel reservation 2days before my check-in in Tokyo, japan due to corona virus case?

Do you know what the Host Cancellation Policy is, eg. Flexible, Moderate or Strict?

We probably all need to be mindful like all new diseases there's always much panic and reactions just like when things like AIDS/ HIV , Measles etc all came into existence and now we know to still treat people who have such diseases as another Human Being.

We all need to stop and ask ourselves, "How would I feel and like to be treated if I had xyz disease?"

Hello from Tauranga, New Zealand.

Due to this outbreak of Corona virus I have quests booking in March for 30 days from South Korea. They booked in October last year and I dont want to cancel unless absolutely necessary. I am happy to ask questions of the quest about their travels. Should I do this?

How's things going along, if they have?
If not it looks like you may have a cancellation/ postponement coming up...Maybe offer them a chance to rebook alternative dates in future if they are caught up in NZ travel/ self isolation imposed controls.

It's a highly transmittable virus.  It's not about discriminating because they are sick.  It's about keeping the virus from spreading world wide.
