Users beware!  I am a NZ citizen and I have booked Airbnb accommodation several times through the NZ website.  I did not know that, by default, all advertised prices on the New Zealand Website are in American Dollars.  I would expect the NZ website to advertise New Zealand accommodation in New Zealand Dollars!  Why would I think otherwise! You have to go into the small print to change the default.  It does not say American Dollars anywhere until you get to make payment.  I did not notice at that point.  So I have paid hundreds of dollars more than I expected to pay, plus currency coversion fees.   I hope this is helpful as a warning to others.  Helen

I don't think this is correct. My account is in GBP, and I see all prices in GBP, all over the world.

Make sure you have the correct currency set in your profile.

As a guest, go to Profile -> Account settings and  click on "Global Preferences". You should be able to set the currency there.
