Damage to my house

I recently had guest cause $3,000 damage to my house. They exceeded the max people allowed and also had a party. I've submitted a request through  the resolution centre but don't have a lot of faith that Airbnb will actually do anything.

Has anyone had a similar experience and how did Airbnb handle it?

Hi @George1373  We had a party with damage with our second ever guest. We received some compensation for some and zero for other damages. If you dont have a proper receipt your out of luck even tho you have solid proof of ownership and condition. Mainly is was a headache dealing with Abnb. We have cameras now and post them on the listing. No more parties! I wish you patience and best of luck
