Damage to yard

Hi all, I had a guest that just checked out and made a mess of mud around my firing that looks like he was at Glastonbury. I know grass grows, but here in the Pacific Northwest, it will be a while. For one person to make such a mess is really irresponsible. I won’t be able to have my next guests use this nice feature of my property until the grass can take hold again. I also have to remove quite a bit of wet sticks and magazines he unsuccessfully used to light his fire. My question is, how much would you charge for loss of use of the area, clean up and putting down new grass seed. He also left muddy foot prints all over the deck. Thanks for any advice.

@Lori234  This has been a hilarious week for Airbnb guests and fires. First we had Laura's guest pull a burning Duraflame out of the fireplace and toss out the front door. Now we have a drunk dancer trying to build a campfire in the rain. What next?

What you've shown there  looks like thumbs-down-review material, but not really damage-claim material. It's a bit too much within the realm of "wear and tear from normal (but weird) use," and it's hard to say that landscaping was damaged when the land doesn't appear to have been, er, scaped in the first place.  @Sarah977  had some great suggestions there for improving the landscaping around the fire ring, if you still feel confident offering it to guests.
