If you had to describe your 2025 as a host in just one word, what would it be?

Tiring

(because of a number of difficult guests who needed a lot of attention).

Those automated messages and someone who can handle the day to day makes the hosting life 10x more efficient and less of a hassle. See if you can find the most common questions answers in a way that’s detailed. That should solve majority of the battle

Frustrating

Our rental is near Yosemite National Park. Reservations were down this year, especially in the off-season. The federal shutdown didn't help. And it's the first time I encountered guests who seemed to create problems to complain about so they could get a refund of the cleaning fee. But, I try to focus on the enjoyable aspects of hosting. Receiving nice comments and feeling I contributed in a positive way to someone's vacation makes me happy. 

@Beverley123  , you’re setting up for a great future. Now is the best time to analyze the environment and appeal to different things in different seasons. This may come with pricing adjustments which can be of benefit if done correctly. Pay attention to the complaints. I’ve revitalized listings based on 2 negative reviews. It’s all in the detail

I'm sure you will continue to do well. If you ever need a second set of eyes on the plan Im more than happy to assist
