Design inconsistency - search filters don't match listing features

When editing a listing, you can indicate "parking" under the amenities section and then it asks what type. My selections are shown in the attached screenshot.

The problem is that when searching for a place to stay and using the "parking" filter,  the only option shown is "free parking on premises" and any other listing that has parking of a different type gets excluded.

For example, my place is in Toronto, a place where free on-street parking is almost unheard of. However, because I'm 4-5km from the city centre and in a residential neighbourhood, there are several streets around my building with free (and always available) parking.

The problem is that I either have to falsely claim that I have "free parking on premises" and then later specify that it's actually on the street (great way to piss people off) or if I select that it's "free street parking", then my listing isn't captured under the "parking" filter and so all the people with cars don't see my listing.

Why does AirBnB present selections to the host if guests don't have corresponding search filters? It makes zero sense for the interface to make me specify what type of parking if guests are unable to select whether that type of parking is suitable when looking for a place to stay.

@Sean95

Not every amenity is also an option to filter on when searching for an accommodarion. The filter for "parking" is , as i would interprete it, to select accommodations with free parking on the premises.

Free parking in public space (nearby streets) is a "good to know" option when reading a listing.

Hmmm yeah that's true. Although in the case of parking, it really would be useful to expand the filter to include more than "parking on the premises". When I travel, I don't care if the parking is on private property or on the street. All I care about is that it's free and I won't waste time looking for a spot. So it would be useful to have a filter for this so that I'm not overly narrowing my choices by using a parking filter and then only seeing listings with private driveways.
