Does anyone ask for a security deposit on site for long stay?

hi everyone,

I have been hosting for many years now, and recently due to extremely bad experiences with few guests who stayed at my place for a long time I started asking from everyone staying in my home for more than 10 days to pay for a security deposit. But Airbnb does not have such a flexibility option when it comes to security deposit. Anyone can relate or give me your thoughts about this please, i would be really helpful. Thanks in advance

All payments and security deposits must be handled through Airbnb. Payments outside of the Airbnb website, including security deposits, are a violation of the Airbnb terms and services.

Host need to report the claim and submit it in the Airbnb Resolution Center within 14 days of check-out or before a new guest checks in.
