All payments and security deposits must be handled through Airbnb. Payments outside of the Airbnb website, including security deposits, are a violation of the Airbnb terms and services.
Host need to report the claim and submit it in the Airbnb Resolution Center within 14 days of check-out or before a new guest checks in.
