Donating a week stay to support charitable causes

Hello All,

Giving back has always been important to my wife and I.  We are currently helping raise funds for a newer charity by doing a giveaway, free week stay at our villa in Costa Rica.  Its going well so far and I know the founders of the charity are very thankful with what we are doing.

I have a few questions for the group. Is there a better way other than social media posts to raise money with a giveaway like this?  Would other hosts donate a few nights or a week (not specifically to the charity we are supporting but in general)  if they had an easy way to do so?  If there was an option right on Airbnb to make a few nights or week available for a cause you support would you do it?

I know we have a few options to give back already this is just one more that I think would help Airbnb stand out from the pack.

Hello @Paula,  thanks for the heads up on Airbnb.org. 

I'm looking to see if there is a way myself or other hosts could make their properties available to charities.  The idea would be something supported through Airbnb so the charities could raise money though a raffle or auction.  Maybe a few categories with dropdown list of approved charities for host to choose from.  

Do you know if this is something Airbnb has looked into in the past or would be open to exploring?
