Extra cleaning fee?

We arrived to clean our condo today after our guest checked out only to find a pile of vomit everywhere in the master closet, up the walls and baseboard, over the ironing board and in all the crevices of the closet sliding door. It was totally disgusting and took a while to clean up. Would you charge an extra cleaning fee and if so how much?

@Clare61 I would try, though Airbnb may not back you up. I would charge hourly at your usual cleaning rate x 2.

I would absolutely charge extra. Tell them the cleaner had to stay an additional 2 hours to give it an extra thorough clean. Include the costs of a steamcleaner required to clean any carpet no matter how small and request any costs of damage.Then leave them a wicked review to warn other hosts.

Thanks Russell, they agreed to pay $75 extra cleaning fee and I did leave a VERY honest review!!
