First really terrible guest, I'm not sure if I should leave a honest review & not recommend him

Hi everyone,

I have been hosting for almost a year with 96 5 star reviews. In the begging I read one suggestion that no review for a guest is a bad review. My last guest, has been a little demanding since he enquired about booking, wanting to park his car all day after checkout, I politely explained that we need the only parking spot for cleaning & have a back to back guest coming in at 2pm. He wasn't happy & wanted free parking after checking out 🙂 I suggested that he uses one of the parking lots within the building at $20 a day, he booked anyhow.

 

He stayed 2 night's arrived very late the first night almost 10pm. I'm guessing he just crawled into bed when he arrived. He was travelling for work, he messaged me at 6.51am the next morning asking where the ironing board is, then messaged again where is the iron. 

House rules are sent out to guests 24 hours before they check in & there's a hard copy under the TV unit. I replied at 7am but he had found both.

My husband & I clean the 1 bedroom apartment ourselves.

 

I have to say when we walked into the apartment after his checkout,  it was jaw dropping, Iron ironing board left in the middle of the kitchen, all cutting boards, dishes, cups glasses old food left sitting in soggy bread we had supplied.

 

He had blocked the kitchen sink with soggy bread pushed down the drain.

 

Bathroom, poo still in the toilet, he had shaved & used the white hand towel to wipe off the shaved wickers ( not wash is down the sink ) he used the white hand towel for this, there was poo on the white hand towel.

 

Bedroom, dripping wet towel left over a wool  throw blanket. Then the bed, as I guessed he must have just crashed when he arrived ( and had a hair cut that afternoon ) OMG I have never seen so much cut hair, all through the bed, sheets, pillow slips , throw , woolen blanket, it penetrated through to the mattress protector .

 

I can go on & on, but I have left reviews before & not recommended a guest, then AirBNB message comes back & says , we will let the guest know what they could do better ( I thought this never goes to the guest ? )

 

Help.
