How to remove image from unsent message

Before typing any text in a message to a guest, I added an image.  Now I want to remove that image.  The message was never sent but I can't figure out how to get rid of the image.

Did you send the image? The images can’t be removed if is already send in message thread.

Do click the cross sign on the left top image page to delete the image which’s doesn’t send out.
