Hi, I’m Biraj 😊
I’m a local from Kathmandu and I love meeting new people from around the world. I’ve created this space to feel simple, cozy, and like a home away from home. Nepal is home to Mount Everest, and while you’re here, I’d love to help you explore the culture, food, and local experiences beyond the mountains. I also run a small café, so you might catch me making tea or coffee. I’m always happy to chat, share local tips, or just help you have a great stay!
Nice listing and very affordable !
I have some suggestions:
- There are only 2 (identical !) photos in the listing.
Add photos of shared spaces like kitchen, bathroom etc..
- Is accommodation for only 1 guest. ? I see a double bed on the photo's
- Listing says: no amenities (bedding, towels etc), no hot water ?
- You also offer "long term stays" (28 nights and longer) .
As a new host better start with short term stays, to gain more quickly experience and reviews..
Hello @Biraj17 A warm welcome to the Airbnb Community Center! 😊
Have you had a chance to read Emiel’s comment? There are some great tips that could help you get off to a great start as an Airbnb host.
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Hi @Biraj17
Welcome to the hosting world!
You might want to add more photos to your listing having only 2 is usually not enough to give guests confidence to book. Try to include clear, wide-angle shots of the entire bedroom so guests can understand the space better. Also, make sure it’s clear whether the room has a private toilet and bath. If it doesn’t, show the shared bathroom and mention that it’s shared with you or other guests.
Since you’re renting out a room and not the entire place, it’s really important to also showcase the common areas guests will have access to like the kitchen, living room, dining area, and any outdoor spaces. This helps set the right expectations and avoids confusion later on.
Photos are one of the biggest decision factors for guests they often rely heavily on them when choosing where to stay. The more transparent and complete your visuals are, the more trust you build. Alongside that, write a detailed and honest description of your space, amenities, and house setup so guests know exactly what to expect.
Hope this helps, and good luck with your hosting journey!
Thank you @Patricia2526. Will add some more photos and information about the property.
Hello @Biraj17, please keep us posted once you’ve updated your listing so the hosts can take another look.
