Log Home Cottage Insurance

Hi there, 

Has anyone here been able to find 12 month insurance for an AirBNB log home? 

If so, please share your info - it would be very much appreciated! 🙂

You need to work with your home insurance broker for commercial business insurance. Home insurance, in Canada, does NOT cover short term rentals.  It took my broker almost 6 weeks to find an insurance carrier.  BTW, expect the premiums to be well above normal home insurance costs.

Thank you for your note! And this is specific to a log home? Do you mind if I guess the insurance company you ended up going with or who the broker was?
