Hello everyone,

I did ask a landlord to rent a flat and he said that to star the rental period, I need to go through Airbnb for the first month and then a regular contract will be signed.

For the first month, he said that I will have to pay the monthly rental amount plus a deposit - everything through the website, somehow. The deposit will be refunded by Airbnb at the end of the first month.

I have never done something like that and I wanted to get some advice before even thinking of signing everything.

Sounds like a con. Airbnb doesn't take a deposit @Antonio2251
