New Cancellation Policy

Just curious per the new cancellation policy re Host cancellation, how would a host have 'proof' that a guest was going to have a party other than the guest telling them directly? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ Very unclear.

Good point. It is hard to prove someoneโ€™s intentions.

Since we had such a party in our home (with a revenge review to boot) we started paying attention to the daily number of views. Usually, the principal guest sends a link to all the other guests. So when we see 30 views in one day and then we get a request for 6 people, we know something is up.

Hi @Ken-And-Denise0, thank you for sharing your feedback here. There are some steps explained in this Resource Center article if you're concerned your guests may violate the Party and Events Policy.

I hope this helps.

@Quincy  there are still no clear steps to have proof. Letโ€™s be real - Airbnb needs to help hosts with clear information, clear steps that result in fair resolutions.
