Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Hello! My name is Wendy and I am from Niceville, FL and Malmö, Sweden. I have previous experience with a STR in Destin, FL which I managed myself while living in China. Now that I'm back stateside, I have a property in Birmingham that I run from Florida. I believe you can run any property from anywhere in the world as long as you have all of your systems and teams in place. I can't wait to aquire more properties. I'm also looking forward to being a member of this great community! Thanks for having me! 🙂

How many people help you manage the property?

Hi @Elisa ! I manage it myself. I have a lot of systems in place so it basically runs it's self. I just have a cleaner who also does maintenance, but I do answer all inquiries and messages myself to give that personal touch. I also designed and staged it myself with fresh furniture and wall art. All European inspired. Such a fun project. Can't wait to do it again. I've already got people asking if I can help them with theirs.

I have contacts through networks I've joined. We swap information and help each other out from time to time. It's especially useful if you live far away from your properties.

I've been hosting for just a little over 2 months. As of 10.01, I'll be on Superhost status as well. I'm having a blast with this property.

Meu nome é Claudia, sou de São Roque, SP, famosa pelas Vinicolas da Estrada do Vinho. fiz 2 anuncios há pouco mais de 1 mês e tive apenas 1 hóspede em uma das casas e fiquei com dúvidas sobre meus anuncios que não estavam aparecendo nas buscas de hospedagens na minha cidade.
