Welcome to the Community Center! 👋  I'm @Elisa , one of the Community Managers for our English Community Center along with my lovely team members @Quincy @Paula @Rebecca @Bhumika @Alex @Emilie and we are thrilled to have you join us.

Let's kickstart this thread with a little about us Community Managers:

@Quincy : I'm from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 I have been on the Community Center for 7+ years, and have been an Airbnb Host myself. I love cycling🚲, playing football⚽, and travelling🌏 . I love how dynamic and diverse the Community Center is as we meet Hosts from all around the globe. 

@Bhumika :  🌍 I was born in Gujarat, India 🇮🇳 , and shifted to Toronto, Canada 🇨🇦 last year! 📷 I recently realized my love for photography and aesthetics. I love to capture mundane life and candid pictures. 🌆 When I'm not working, you'll find me binge-watching thriller movies or exploring history.

@Paula : I am from Colombia 🇨🇴 and currently living in British Columbia, Canada 🇨🇦. I have a passion for Latin American culture (I love to dance 💃) . I've had the opportunity to visit around 20 countries 🌎 and plan to visit many more. In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities, especially mountain biking 🚲 and hiking 🏔.

@Rebecca : I'm from Cardiff in Wales originally but being a military child and a veterans spouse, I've travelled and lived in a lot of different places in the UK and Europe. I'm an environmentalist 🌿 and like to minimise my impact on the planet 🌎 as well as volunteering in my local community.  I love sea swimming 🌊 yoga on the beach 🧘‍ and I'm a children's yoga instructor too! 🙌 

@Elisa : I was born in Italy 🇮🇹 and as a lover of unique experiences—from exploring the streets of Rome🇮🇹 , Paris 🇫🇷, and Toronto 🇨🇦 to appreciating timeless art and cuisine—I'm here to blend the old with the new. 

@Alex : I'm originally from Spain 🇪🇸, but my passion for traveling made me move to Toronto🇨🇦 this year to explore the culture and add another unforgettable experience to my journey ✈️. I'm also passionate about all kinds of sports ⚽️ (especially football, in which I played at a semi-professional level) and love to discover new dishes everywhere I go. 🥘

@Emilie : I was born in France 🇫🇷, raised in French Polynesia 🌺 and Morocco 🇲🇦, and have settled in the UK for 14 years now! On evenings and weekends, you will find me spending time with my dog, working on a jigsaw, or trying my hand at some new cuisine. 🍲

Hi Bhumika  im orijinal Turkish i been living canada more than 35 years

on during pandemic we me and my husband  went to turkiye  and buy our home

for our retirement but unfortunately  this plan is goin to take  some years

so  during the pandemic i have watch so many Airbnb idea from youtupe and talk to some experience people   i decide to do airbnb but some regulations on my country i could start  right away after all the regulations are done i be come a host :))

my home is in very small village in  Izmir right beside the see its local tourist most of the visitors

i would like to host  for more from all the another country but my village is  not knowing like another 

Citys like Antalya Bodrum let see what the future is showing for us i hope i be super host one day thank you :)))

Hi, I'm Martha from North Carolina.  We've been with airbnb about 2 years but have noticed a dramatic drop off since hearing the airbnb ceo is working with DOGE.  Is anyone else having a decrease in their visitors?  Before this we had a lot of traffic and great guests. 😞  Thanks!

Hello Everyone! @Elisa you sound like the perfect travel guide!   My name is Ana, I am from Brazil, but now living in Dallas, Texas.  In my free time I enjoy beach tennis and spending time with my family.  I love travel, I have been all over the world, my favorite spot over seas is Paris and in the United States, Lake Tahoe.  Side Note: We recently adopted a Frenchie ( George) I will trade advice on co-hosting and turnover service for anyone who can help me tame our Frenchie George, LOL!

My name is Alek and I was born in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, but raised in Russia. Now, I’m back in Mexico, embracing new opportunities while pursuing my passions—crypto, investments, real estate, travel, wine, and cooking.

This month, I launched my Airbnb, and it’s been fully booked every day! I couldn’t be happier to start this new adventure. My goal is to exceed every guest’s expectations, delivering a 101% experience—simply because I believe in treating people the way I’d love to be treated.

I speak English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, and I’m currently learning Chinese, which allows me to connect with people from all over the world.
