What is "No opt-in required"?

I asked an Airbnb team member and this is their answer:

"I completely understand your concern, I like to inform that Guest will select different insurance policies which differs accordingly, as once the guest selects the specific insurance, if they have any queries it will be answered as per the insurance policy which they would have selected."

I just want to know whether a guest is covered if they get hurt in my property and what things are/are not covered.

Does anyone know?

@Jorge3151   You need to speak to your own property insurance provider as to what is covered and not covered in your rental property.

I would NOT rely on Airbnb's Host Damage Protection (not insurance) or their Liability Insurance to cover you.

Hosts should have their own short term rental insurance policies. Typical homeowner's insurance will not cover operating an Airbnb on the property. Landlord insurance is for stays 30+ nights and is generally only for long term tenants and not short term rentals.

Please read through all the exclusions and limitations of Aircover HDP and Liability Insurance:
