Hi we have some locals who are doing a home renovation and have been staying with us when our space has not been booked 7-10 days at a time. The spouse is also 8 months pregnant. They just booked again as they weren’t quite sure when their project will be finished and they wanted a place in case she goes into labor. I told them at the most recent booking that if they can move back onto their house I would refund the nights that they don’t stay (as a courtesy of being a “neighbor”). My cancellation policy is “firm”. Will Airbnb reimburse their fees in the middle of a booking or would I have to pay my net AND Airbnb and local tax fees? TIA!
Just curious. It hasn’t happened yet but assuming that their project will be completed.
