Is there a way to contact air b n b for a refund of service fees that I am owed? There seems to literally be no way to contact the company; one can only request a refund from a former host. The host fully refunded me.
Even if the host set a flexible cancellation policy, Airbnb are never repaid except you cancel less than 48h after booking if the check in date is in more than 14 days.
Airbnb fees are due when you book.
You used the service to find a place and it is validated when booking.
@Candace144 Did you fully read the conditions of the cancellation policy you booked under to see if your cancellation falls under the conditions of reimbursement of the service fee?
And I don't know what you mean by thinking "one can only request a refund of a former host". Guests don't need to request refunds from hosts for cancellations. If you cancel, you automatically receive a refund according to the cancellation policy in place, there is no need to ask the host.
