Request to change dates

We have a guest who has booked for 4 days next week but wants to move that to a couple of weeks out. Problem is we only have a 10 day period open and he wants the middle 4 days so we will lose the 4 he booked and any chance of the other 6 nights (3 and 3 ). since we don’t do less than 4.  Am I correct to say no?

You are not obliged to accept a change of reservation.

Better tell the guest which options (dates) he can choose from.

@Jon232 yes, you're fine to say no and even if you say yes with a suggestion for which of those days you'll agree to, I'd also charge an upcharge for the fact that they took days on your calendar that then don't get used.
