Requesting valid ID from guest

Hi.. i am requesting a valid ID to my guest who booked on Jan 23... I am requesting him to send it by email but he said he will not send his passport by email because according to him its not safe . He said he already informed the airbnb on this. Where i can find his valid id.? its also for a security reason in our part to check the identity of our client before check in. Thank you

Tell the guest they will have to show it on arrival, although if its not a legal requirement in your country you can't enforce it.

You could have canceled his booking penalty free if it was in your house rules, but sadly its not.
