Shower BOX damage by guest

I recently hosted a guest.

While showering he stepped up in awkward position on the shower drainage grill and unfortunately the grill and connecting pipe got damaged and the water is leaking on floor if someones shower (damaging floor and tiles).

The shower has been in place for like 2 years and never had isssue but its a very rare thing that happened and guest did it as his foot stepped badly on it. How i could claim the damage done? ofcourse i could not forecast this kind of unconventional damage.

Sounds like general maintenance, I highly doubt you will get any compensation.  Just have it fixed and write it off as a business expense.
