Smart pricing not converting into bookings at height of season.

hi. Just seeing, generally the smart pricing seems to work really well, we’ve been having a good year. But we’ve entered peak season a couple of weeks or so and bookings have dropped right off. I’ve been checking the pricing and some of it has been through the roof, so I’ve had to edit manually to try and get extra bookings. This isn’t how this feature should work I don’t think, well, I know it isn’t. Shouldn’t have to manually editing the price just to get last minute bookings. I think there is something wrong with their algorithms at this point. Anyone else experiencing similar? Out of season it’s been great, but we rely on our core season to get through the winter and raise funds for upkeep and maintenance. Thanks

@Alan2087 I have never been impressed with smart pricing. In our experience it went to the top of the range months out and then dropped to the min price as the date of stay approached. I also noticed it didn't react well or fast enough to local events such as concerts and festivals.

We ended up switching it off as it wasn't possible to set different min/max rates for the different seasons. When we did have it switched on we had a very tight min/max range so it didn't miss bookings or charge too little.

I assume the need for you to achieve 240 nights a year makes loss of bookings an additional  worry
