Split payment for a business trip

Hi everyone

I know that split payment was cancelled in 2018, but need to ask if anyone knows any solution on how to pay a stay with two equal instalments? 

Is it even possible? 

I chose a two-step payment at the beginning of the reservation but the amount paid at the first step is only 20% of the total and we need it 50-50. I would try to cancel the existing reservation and try to rebook all over if there would be an option to pay half of the stay immediately and half at the second step.

The problem is in an administration of my partner's institution who specifically asks for a confirmation (card transaction) that half of the total was paid by her, even if they know that the other half is paid by me. To do a refund later on, they want a confirmation about the exact amount. On the other hand, my institution does have this issue. 

Any help is more than welcomed.

@Stefan3220   Airbnb dictates the payment method.  The host cannot.  I’m afraid there is no solution to your request.

The only solution I can think of @Stefan3220 is to see if you can find the place on VRBO, which does accept split payments.
