Super Guests

I hope Airbnb can also create a “Superguest” badge for guests as well, not just for hosts. It would be a great way to recognize respectful, responsible, and thoughtful guests who consistently follow house rules, communicate well, and take care of the places they stay in.

I think it could also help hosts feel more confident accepting bookings, especially for new hosts who rely heavily on reviews when making decisions. Guests who consistently earn great reviews deserve recognition too.

What do you guys think? Would a Superguest badge be a good idea? 😊

@Patricia2526   I too think that is an excellent idea, and totally agree with @Joelle43 . I have had guests that were really not 5 star guests. A SuperGuest badge would separate the not really 5* guest from the truly excellent ones. I also wish there was a way for Airbnb to require guests to read the listing before making their reservation.

I have a but coming though!  Some hosts, automatically give a 5* review even if the guests left the place in a right mess or didn't adhere to the house rules etc.  I've had some 5* guests staying and to be honest, was surprised they got such a high rating.

With more and more hosts using concierge type companies to run listings, who are never there for check-out and who have lots of reviews to give per day, I'm pretty certain they have a standard 5* review that gets handed out no matter what.  A lot of hosts don't even realise that guests don't see their star ratings under their profiles, that they only see our reviews so if hosts really started playing ball, a super guest badge would definitely mean something😉

The Expedia group have a loyalty programme for guests with good reviews in place and so maybe it's only a matter of time before Airbnb also implement special discounts to such great hosts.
