Unverified guests blocking my listing

As a host with multiple listings, I find it very frustrating that guests who have not completed their verification process, can request to book and then it blocks it from other potential guests to book. I’ve brought this up with Airbnb multiple times as I don’t think it’s fair on the host. The listing should stay open and if it’s still available after they have finished the verification process, they are welcome to book. How can I get Airbnb to change this?

I think one of the only things you can do is offer your space to unverified guests. If you don't require the guest to be verified then anyone can book right away. It's not a solution but unfortunately, it is one or the other with Airbnb.
