WHY can’t I decline

Why can’t I decline any inquiries or reservations?!? I’ve called on this issue for about a week. All Airbnb is allowing me to do is approve or pre approve What’s up?!?!?

My understanding is that if it is an enquiry you should answer it (to maintain your stats) but you do not need to approve/pre approve/decline.

For reservations they hate you declining and will, I believe, start to penalise you after 3.

All you need to do for an inquiry is send a message to the guest. I don't pre approve or reject anyone. Reservations, that is another thing entirely.
