cohosting communication errors, cannot talk with my guests via airbnb messaging

anyone having this issue? been waiting for help from airbnb since friday morning...

Details... I can communicate with guests from my own property without any issues. On the property that i cohost. As soon as the booking becomes confirmed I cant message the guests. Prior to the booking becoming confirmed we can communicate. This has never been an issue. The error im getting is " something went wrong with your request. please try again later". I get this on every new confirmed booking from the cohosted property since Friday.  Airbnb told me wait 24 hours to get a specialist to help... well its been 3 days and my guests check in soon and we cannot communicate.. soo yea. any help would be great.

Hi there @Yuki-and-Charlie0, just wondering if you're still experiencing this issue? Has Airbnb contacted you already?

 

Also, have you tried using a different browser by any chance?

I currently am experiencing similar problems that I cannot access some co-host message when there's a booking request. It shows "you don't have permission to access this resource" when I open on my phone app, but it works normal when I do on computer. System glitch.

Yeah I think we may have a different issue. It’s only after the booking becomes confirmed that I lose communication ability with them. Doesn’t matter if I’m on mobile,PC or different browsers... I’ve spoken with quite a few Airbnb reps over the past 4 days and they all say we need to escalate this and you can expect a specialist to help within 24 hours... still nothing on day 4 and my guest checks in pretty soon. My guess is he will probably just cancel because I don’t think they can communicate with me either. The support staff confirmed no new messages have been sent from either side since the bookings have been confirmed.
