trying to find out if a host is still renting out their property

I am trying  to enquire about a property but all of the dates are greyed out. I want to know if the Host is no longer renting out their property but I can't contact the host without putting in dates

@Susan3559   If you have stayed with this host before, you can contact them within your previous message thread. 

Otherwise, don't bother. There are many possible reasons for the dates being greyed out - they could be booked, or the listing could be paused - but if there aren't available dates, you should assume that the host does not currently want to be contacted on Airbnb.
