Host Referral Program

Question about 'Host Referral Program': I was referreed by a friend (airBnB host) to start hosting and was told I will earn £38 after hosting a trip. I clicked on the link, listed my place, started hosting...but I never received the £38 or any message about it. It still shows as notification as "XYZ invited to share your space. Earn a £38 after hosting a trip." (which I have already done!!!)
Any advice?

Hi @Ryan59 You will receive credit when someone has booked and completed a  the reservation with a value of $100 or more excluding guest fees (i.e. cleaning fees), Airbnb service fees and taxes, if applicable.  When you have done this, it may take a week or so for you to receive the credit.  You can learn more about how it works here:

Although it mostly talks about what the referring host must do, it does explain what you need to do as a referred host.

Countless thousands of hosts and guests routinely being  cheated out of referral bonuses, travel vouchers and even gift cards cannot, in all conscience, still be passed off as an occasional slip-up or an unfortunate aberration - it's rampant practice on the platform, and has been for years. Airbnb is, of course, fully aware of the issue, and of the pitfalls users are encountering, yet in all this time, have done absolutely nothing to rectify or clarify the situation. That tells us all we need to know, really.

So frustrated, I received an email that I could refer a new Host and receive a reward.  Both me and the new host followed the rules and submitted the referral.  Have seen nothing! Have called numerous times only to be "passed off" to someone else.  ABNB should be willing to make a simple phone call to resolve my issue.  I am a good Super Host and even own some ABNB stock!  If they advertise it, and send me an email they should honor it!  So Frustrated---debbie  Wise Old Owl Cabin Indiana, USA
