A few questions

Why aren't there any people of color mostly in the community center? And also I'm recently filled a law suite and arbitration against Airbnb for suspending my nephew account and not following their own policy. But I feel like Airbnb often doesn't like to take responsibility when they're in the wrong.

We’ve had some very active contributors here of all different shapes, sizes, and colors. Any one is welcome to join and contribute to these forums.

Just a warning: this post will probably get deleted soon.

I don’t ever see them leaving comments. I just see mostly white caucasian men and women.

@Teshawn0   I am afraid that statement is simply not true !  You just need to look at all the different posts to see that all types of people from all over the world contribute here.

I am presuming you and @Kym110 are related as you recently posted about your experience with your nephews account being suspended due to racism I think ?

I'm not a caucasian woman, I leave comments here.

Really???? I responded to you when you raised the issue about your nephew and I am definitely not Caucasian !!! @Teshawn0

Then there are people like you who don't provide a profile photo so we don't know their ethnic background..

Can you explain why the ethnic make up of this community is relevant to your nephew's case where he was suspended from Airbnb according to you for making racist comments to support staff?

@Kym110 As you don't have a profile picture, and assuming you are a person of colour, it will perpetuate the myth that there aren't people of colour in the community centre. Also if I look at the moderators at least two of six are people of colour (I think- to be honest I've never considered it or counted them until now).

Well yes I am one of them @Kym110  and I am a regular poster. I've seen lots of other hosts and guests post here who aren't white.

How are you able to file a law suite and arbitration against Airbnb when you are not the host or guest.

And why is the ethnic make up of participants here relevant to your law suit?

Thank you for your support and clarification on inclusion in the CC @Pat271 @Mike-And-Jane0

@Kym110, the Community Center has members from all over the world, and different backgrounds (including myself).

Airbnb has a nondiscrimination policy in place that promotes equal opportunities and prohibits discrimination based on race, ethnicity, and other factors. It is crucial for all community members, including hosts and guests to adhere to this policy to ensure the Community Center is a welcoming, inclusive, and safe space for all.

Thank you for your understanding,

Quincy
