Account Advice

I created an account in Italy so I could have my home out for vacation rentals. Everything went smoothly, ID checks were fine and the next day I get the information that all is well and also the first 3 who booked would be entitled to a special discount. All sounded great. Then...I got a mail saying please input your tax details - which I did and then bang! Account Blocked.  This was at the beginning of November 23 since then I have been trying to get someone to explain why but have been going around in circles. The Customer Service line and the Help via Twitter all promise the earth and say 'someone from our specialised team will get back to you'. However, all that happens is they send an email where you can only see a few lines and then you have to click on the link button to go to your airbnb account to read the message. But...as you can't get into that because you are blocked you never see the message. The closest I came was when someone said blocked for 'authenticity' reasons but I have no idea what that means or why. I carried on asking questions via Twitter and got the same 'specialised team will get back to you' and every time the same thing apart from one which said' we have reviewed your case and agree with the initial reason' - so I still don't know what that reason is. It seems strange to get blocked before you've even used the account. Any sugggestions?

Hi @Adriano356 I see your post still un-answered. Did you have any succeess in the meantime?

In the past I've heard sometimes that new hosts had issues when creating a new listing in a country which is different from their main account country, perhaps also here?

Still not resolved. What is worse is that they keep sending me messages by email and the only way to read the message it to log into your account to read and respond, For 4 months I keep saying that I can’t read the messages and they respond with exactly the same thing. I too have heard that it could be something as simple as having two accounts - if that is the case then fine. I just don’t want to risk having my personal account compromised for what may be a silly reason.
