Does anyone have any recommendations for a forward thinking accountant that has knowledge of short term letting, co-hosting, Airbnb payout splits and VAT liabilities that you can recommend?

@Stef5148 I have never met a forward thinking accountant -  Its unlikely you will find one in the world of those who complete tax returns.

When we hosted I kept the books myself and adjusted things like pension contributions (when this was allowed) and major costs to sit within different tax years and hence minimise tax paid. We were very lucky so managed to pay almost zero tax during our time on Airbnb and, at the same time, created a very healthy SIPP for Jane.

Hi Mike, I mean forward thinking, as in someone who's embracing the digital era and the software on offer, rather than one who will proactively work for me!

I manage over 20 properties across multiple platforms, so really looking for recommendations of accountants that can help with this and have the knowledge of Airbnb, plus VAT liabilites.
