Acquiring an Airbnb thats already listed, Help!

I am purchasing a property that has been an AirBNB, the current owners have closed the calendar to prevent bookings after our close date. However I am ready to get the property running and listed prior to close so I can begin accepting booking. However although the current owners are no longer accepting bookings they still have the property listed with a closed calendar. My question is will AirBNB allow me to make a identical listing by address on my account so that I can begin booking guest for future stays? Yes, I have maid it through inspection, under contracrt, etc. just waiting to close. Additionally, the property will include all furniture, equipment, etc. I'm ready to go! Please advise.

@Michael10098 you should be OK doing this. Airbnb may think its a duplicate listing but hopefully you can explain to them it isn't if they ask

Well...unfortunately, Airbnb has been suspending listings as a duplicate, when the new owner has purchased a property that was previously listed on Airbnb. Airbnb is using AI to do this, and AI is not a human. Hosts have been reporting their new listing suspended by Airbnb after a month or so under their Circumvention Policy, even if the previous listing didn't have any issues or low ratings:

You might want to get ahead of that by contacting Airbnb and providing the proof that you are a legit new owner and not trying to hide the previous listing's bad reviews. You also might want to have a written agreement with the previous owners to DELETE their listing after their last guest checks-out. The previous owner should not only block their calendar now, but should unlist the property. This hides it from guest even seeing it in search results, but doesn't interfere with current guest reservations.
