Hi, trying to figure out what type of taxes Airbnb remitted. And what we owe. I do know MA is 5.7% and local is 6%. I never filed the monthly Massachusetts short term rental reports. Really need to figure this out!. I can attach any images if helpful. Thanks!

See my first response below. Keep after Airbnb to fix this. They need to escalate to the tax team. Below is a thread from another Host in Colorado with a similar issue as yours. She eventually got them to correct it.
Not sure you will be able to contact previous guests as Airbnb removes their phone number from the reservation detail after they book. Not sure it's even a good idea to try. Guests may question why you are asking for the tax now? Not sure how much money you will be out of pocket because of this, but might not be worth asking previous guests for the tax.
Were you ever able to see the taxes section on a desktop/laptop? Did it show Airbnb was collecting the 6% Tisbury Township tax?
To determine what you need to do, I would contact MassConnect directly:
No only the MA tax from what I could tell.
When I click on review tax it just takes me to a page discussing local laws etc. So no option to do anything.
Did you do this on a computer desktop/laptop? Did you turn on Pro Tools correctly and see the multicalendar?
Don't Forget to click "Manage"
See where it says custom tax collection at the bottom on your screen shot and on right panel Add a tax? This is where you would add the Tisbury Township tax if Airbnb is not collecting it automatically. If Airbnb is collecting the Tisbury Township 6% for other listings, they should be doing it for yours too. You shouldn't have to add a custom tax for that. You may also find when you click the drop-down list, it's not shown there. You have to contact Airbnb and ask they if other listings in Tisbury Township they are collecting for, why aren't the doing it for yours??
What did the first page say regarding what taxes Airbnb is collecting?
I wouldn't add a tax until you confirm what Airbnb is collecting.
Yes I did turn on Pro Tools and the above pictures of the Taxes are the same. Only shows MA tax. I sent a message to MA DOR asking about filing returns. May have to ask MA DOR or Airbnb about local taxes as well. Thanks!
Definitely contact Airbnb to find out why they aren't collecting the Tisbury Township 6% tax as they are doing for other listings in your location. You can share this screen shot of another listing in Oak Bluffs:
When checking the the custom tax dropdown...is Tisbury Township shown there to add a custom tax? If not, that is further proof that Airbnb should be collecting the 6% Tisbury Township tax on your listing.
No the Tisbury township is not listed there.
Here is a Community Guide another Host created for registering with MassConnect I found on the CC. It was originally written in 2020, but some entries are from 2024. Might help you:

Airbnb is saying I need to collect the past reservations local tax directly from each guest that stayed. Thanks for your help!
Well prob not going to be able to do that.
Going forward with any future reservations, I would ask why they are collecting the Tisbury Township taxes for other listings but not yours?
Don’t let them say they don’t…keep trying and escalate. Send them the screen shot. They don’t have your TAID (Tax Area ID) set up correctly on your listing. They will have to send this to the Team that handles taxes…the front line CS can’t fix this.
While they fix it, you’ll have to collect 6% tax from guest on each booking and disclose that on your listing. Once they book there is a “Send or Request Money” tab on the reservation details.
