Are UK cleaner fees tax deductible?

Hi community

I have started to list my flat in Brighton. I understand things like share of utility bill, insurance, air b charges, welcome pack and cleaning materials are tax deductible BUT if I use an agency to do the cleaning turnaround, can I deduct it from my tax. Would appreciate any advise. Thank you so much! Nina

Yes @Nina1164  look on the HMRC website it provides a list of expenses that are tax deductible.

@Nina1164 You can also deduct mortgage interest and probably pay no council tax if you operate as a furnished holiday let. Again details available on gov.uk
