Calendar not syncing correctly with other platform

All of a sudden, my Airbnb calendar is not syncing with my other platform.  It is showing the day a guest checks out on the other platform as available, even though I have it checked to clear the day before and after a reservation.  Anyone else having this issue?

This guest that you're referring to - did they book on Airbnb or on the other platform?

 

If they booked on the other platform, you'll have to manually block the additional night. Airbnb can only draw in the nights blocked by the other platform when it syncs - it can't "know", for example, whether it's a booking or just blocked nights that are coming in.

Yes...this has caused many a headache for Hosts. As @Shelley159 mentions, if a guest books on another platform (other than Airbnb) even with calendar synced, you will have to manually block prep days before and after the booking if that is what you want. 

 

Specialized settings like prep days on Airbnb do not sync with other platforms - they need to be blocked manually. We do not use Instant Book for this reason on both platforms for the same property. Each time a booking is made, we manually adjust/block any prep days and then refresh (force a sync) on both calendars. Otherwise, Airbnb says it can take up to 3 hours to sync (unless using a channel manager):
